Biographie En

Dominique David is Advisor to the Executive Chairman of Ifri since April 2015. He is also editor-in-chief of Politique étrangère and co-director of Ramses. Also since 2015, Dominique David is the Chair of the Austro-French Centre for Rapprochement in Europe (ÖFZ). Between 2006 and 2015 he was Executive Director of Ifri, after having headed its Department of Security Studies.

Prior to joining Ifri, Dominique David was Deputy Director of the French Institute of Polemology, then Secretary General of the Foundation for National Defense Studies (FEDN). He has also taught at the Special Military School of Saint-Cyr, in several universities, as well as at the Institute of Political Studies in Paris. His research and publications focus on strategic and security issues, in particular French strategy and European issues.
