Since September 11, India has decided to involve itself once again in Afghanistan. Furthermore, it intends to increase its presence in Central Asia, particularly in Tajikistan or Uzbekistan. Under cover of antiterrorist cooperation, New Delhi is already linked to several regional organizations; for instance, it has observer status in the SCO.
