ArchivesJacques de Larosière is born on 1929. Former student at the École nationale d’administration (ENA), he has been Treasure Director (1974-1978), and Generali Director of the International Monetary Fund(1978-1987). He has been Head of the Banque de France and of the Banque européenne pour la reconstruction et le développement (BERD). He is Member of the Académie des sciences morales et politiques. In the first 1980s, the second petroleum crack takes place, after the Iranian Revolution et the begining of the Iran-Iraq war.
