<p><strong>German-French Young Professionals Network Working on Multilateralism</strong></p>

<p>France and Germany are willing to act as key players in order to promote multilateralism. The “Alliance for Multilateralism”, founded in September 2019 on a French-German initiative, will be a driving force.</p>

<p>Against this backdrop, the Study Committee on Franco-German Relations – Cerfa at the French Institute of International Relations – Ifri and the <a href="https://www.kas.de/en/home&quot; target="_blank">Konrad Adenauer Stiftung Paris</a> have launched the Program on Multilateralism. The main objective is to raise awareness on multilateralism (definition of multilateralism; inventory of existing multilateral initiatives, platforms, institutions; challenge of multilateral approaches) and to contribute to a better understanding of the challenges relating to the upholding of a rules-based world order in France, in Germany and at the European level, and of the future issues at stake at the global level (climate, access to resources, Outer space…).</p>

<p>This Program targets young professionals working in parliaments, ministries, economic federations, the private sector, as well as in German, French and European think tanks and institutions more broadly.</p>

<p>This program provides training based on briefings and training sessions with selected experts and practitioners covering a broad range of issues related to multilateralism, such as International Trade, Health, Human Rights and Migration Issues, Non-proliferation and Disarmament.</p>
