This seminar is organized around Gavan McCormack, Emeritus Professor, Australian National University. He is an expert of modern East Asian, especially Japanese politics and intellectual, political, and environmental history. He has published numerous articles and books on the US-Japan relations, including: Client State: Japan in the American Embrace, New York and London, Verso, 2007.
