The Center for Asian Studies is pleased to announce that Alice Ekman, Associate Research Fellow at Ifri, was granted the title of Doctor of Philosophy (with honors) at the Institut d’études politiques de Paris on 21 March 2013.
Asia is at the core of major global economic, political and security challenges. The Centre for Asian Studies provides documented expertise and a platform of discussion on Asian issues through the publication of research papers, partnerships with international think-tanks and the organization of seminars and conferences.
The researchers publish primarily in the Center’s two electronic publications: La Lettre du Centre Asie and Asie.Visions, as well as in a range of other academic publications. Through their interventions in the media and participation in seminars and conferences, they contribute to the national and international intellectual debate on Asian issues.
