Ifri offers the French and foreign media a forum for meeting and debating, an independent platform where ideas can be shared and analyses mutual enrich each other. The Institute maintains a permanent dialogue with journalists by inviting them to the numerous events organized in Paris and Brussels, providing them with expert analyses on current international affairs as well as clarifying geopolitical developments through its publications and research. Ifri's research is often cited and used by the French and foreign media.
In 2012, we were active in the national and international press through more than 350 authored articles and interviews, around 4,200 citations and 300 audiovisual appearances. More than 520 journalists were hosted at Ifri in addition to press conferences.
Ifri Events are open to the press except when meetings are restricted. Recording and filming is permitted with the exception of cases where the conferences taking place under the "Chatham House rules" (off the record). For all requests, please contact the media department.
