The Ifri Center for Energy assesses the integration of European governance with the ever changing geopolitics of energy. The Center identifies emerging issues and delivers insights and analysis to inform policy makers of the security, environmental and climate change, economic and foreign policy implications of developments in world nergy markets. The objective of the Center is a more coherent and sustainable European energy and climate change policy.

Since February 2014, the Center for Energy has joined the European Consortium INSIGHT_E

Organization of the Center

The governance structure ensures the quality and the relevance of the Center.

An independent Scientific Committee avaluates the Center scientific quality. Its Chairman, Professor Jacques Lesourne, personally oversees the research.

High-level researchers from all over Europe contribute to the Center on an ad hoc basis. Ifri Center for Energy is also developing co-operations with a number of international research centers in the areas of energy and international relations.

The team is based in Paris and Brussels.
